Vilnius, Lithuania. Second Baltic Pride parade. Marchers, supporters, protestors, specialty police, and a bomb scare. The fear that it could resemble the violence of the first parade. The hope that it will be different.

Winter in the Appalachian Mountains is full of vacancies. Many of the motels built in the 1960s along the border of Cherokee Nation to cater to vacationing white families are now abandoned, yet their imprint of white settlerism remains as modern tourists visit “natural beauties” and stay in private cabins and farms on stolen land.
